We assembled the second bridge last weekend less the hand rails and moved all the steel beams in place to erect the third bridge. This coming weekend there will be no bridge building. If anyone would like to cut and remove brush we can do this but please RSVP Bob@nhstamp.com for planning purposes. We would still leave from Dirt Designs Saturday morning at 8:00 AM.
A big thanks to all who contribute to our club.
Well last weekend we got most of this bridge put together. Still need to put the guard rails on. Thanks to our volunteers again for making this happen. We will be building another bridge next Saturday, hope to see some more new faces at our meeting site at Dirt Designs.
All the materials for these projects come from grants that we applied for and received. We have a dead line to complete this work or we could loose this money. CNHSC volunteers donates all the labor to make these projects happen.
Last weekend, we made great strides taking apart 3 bridges, moving new steel beams and wood in place to begin assembly for them this week. Chesleys Pizza even supplied our lunch. (Big thanks to them). This week Peter will be cooking for us at the job site, everyone knows he’s a great cook. The weather should be great this weekend love to see all. If you RSVP that could help Peter plan for how much food he needs.
As a foot note:
A interesting article was in a snow mobile magazine that said most of the snowmobile clubs volunteers are older! Well I am starting to believe it. While we are getting good turn outs for volunteers it would be great to see the younger generation step up! Funny thing they are the ones always asking if the trails are groomed also..
